Almost a year ago today I was diagnosed with breastcancer,grade 2 in lymph nodes I was totally and utterly devastated, particularly because it was missed on my annual mammograms. i really thought I was going to die, just like my sister did after being diagnosed with it at 28.
Today I walked 10 miles for Breastcancer care at Petworth park, and thanks to the generosity of my family and friends managed to raise over £1000. What a difference a year makes. in September I intend to climb Ben Nevis!
This website became my lifeline and I can’t tell,you how many times I phoned the helpline in floods of tears, to be calmed and reassured by the lovely ladies on the end of the phone. So Thankyou breastcancer care for being here, and to all of you ladies undergoing treatment, there is light at the end of the tunnel and I wish you all well. Michelle xx
