pins and needles

Hi all,

Well I smuggly wrote I was having no side effects except for one swollen leg! So decided that I really should see GP about it; straight to hospital but thank goodness no DVT.
So has anyone had a swollen leg with the most annoying pins and needles as a side effect or is this something else??

I had swollen leg 3 weeks ago, went to GP who sent me to hospital suspected DVT. this was ruled out after blood tests done. Went to see onc as leg no better, who organised ultra sound again no signs of DVT. CT scan organised (I have secondaries) now I’m worried cancer was spreading. CT scan showed up a blood clot, not in leg, in groin area. Now on tinzaparin injections. Don’t want to worry you, and sorry if I have but have they definately done all they can to rule out DVT.

Hi Lynne,

Thanks for the reply and sorry to hear your news. I had bloods taken, which came back positive ( but false positives are common ) so US scan up to groin, no clot seen. I am going back to see GP tomorrow.
