Hello 

 

I was dx in April with stage 2 grade 2 breast cancer with one node affected.  I had a lumpectomy and full node clearance.

 

I went back to day for my results and the surgeon did not get clear margins so i have to have another op to remove some more tissue.

 

he also confirmed that they removed 18 nodes and all of them had cancer in them.  OMG please has anyone had so many nodes affected and is still around to tell the tale??

 

I am also E - P- but i am HER2 positive and i am praying this will enable me to have herceptin 

 

The doctor said my bone scan was clear but my CT scan result are no in yet so i have to call him Monday

 

Please can anyone with a similar dx bring this into perspective.   xxx

I hope by now you have had your CT scan and all will be well! I was grade3 her 2 pos and am having herceptin. I had chemo, followed by db mx and rads.
