Hi everyone.
I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma in Dec 2025, following a routine mammogram. I had a lumpectomy in Jan 26, then a WLE March 26 to get better margins, then a single mastectomy in April 26 to make sure all cancer was removed. No chemo or radiotherapy were required.
I’m premenopausal at 54 so have zoladex and due to start anastrolzole in a couple of weeks.
6 days ago I noticed a small, pea size lump in my remaining breast. I called my BCN who said to go through gp as it’s quicker than her referring me. GP examined and found a second lump as well as the one I found, so referral to breast clinic with 14 day wait time, for suspected BC.
I’m worried. I’m trying not to be anxious about my health but this has floored me.
