Hi all, I was diagnosed with high grade DCIS IN 2019. I had my annual mammogram and it’s shown calcifications again. A biopsy was done but the results have come back inconclusive so I need to have another biopsy. The surgeon thinks it’s likely to be DCIS again. The only option I have is a mastectomy as I had radiotherapy last time. I am thinking along the lines of double mastectomy and no reconstruction. Has anyone opted for this ? I just wanted to see if anyone has experienced anything similar.
