Good morning. I had my stereo VAC done on the 5th June. Where the biopsy was done I get sharp pains every now and then and it has been mad itchy around the whole breast. It’s only recently started doing that. Is that normal?

Hiya, I had exactly the same after my vac biopsy, I had it done in September and its still sore compared to regular biopsies in other breast plus it does itch all the time so I guess it’s pretty normal plus my surgeon said the soreness in the breast after vac is normal, hope that helps

I was worrying away. I wasn’t sure whether to see my GP or ring the clinic where I got it done. I panic thinking I was probably overthinking it and waste their time. Which i know it wouldn’t bring really. They’ve been a great support. As has this group x
Did you get your results from your biopsy??
