Post DIEP surgery bra/pants recommedations

Hello

I’m due to have a double mastectomy with an immediate DIEP reconstruction next month but am a bit unsure about where to start with post surgery bras and pants. I’m also unsure about sizing as I’ll be having a reduction. Any advice or recommendations welcomed! Thanks in advance :smiling_face:

I had a DIEP 13 years ago and I found Bridget Jones support knickers were a godsend! I was terrified of putting them on at first but they held everything in and made it feel comfortable and I was able to stand upright on day two!

Hi, just seen this. The nurse at Royal Marsden recommended the surgery bras from Asda and the support pants from matalan. They were a great buy and I wore them after my Maxopexy surgery also.

Please can you post the link to the Matalan support pants as I’m not sure which ones are suitable?

they are a different design to the ones that I bought, these are actually prettier.

I had a single mastectomy and diep flap reconstruction last June

I was advised to get a post surgery bra and abdomen support for post operation

I found the post surgery bras from cancer research were the best and more comfortable also quite pretty

I am a 36c /d and found the large size most suitable as they are front opening and three
