I had a lumpectomy on Monday. The hospital sent me home with a binder but it’s too big for me so they stuffed it with wads of bandages while I was in hospital. When I stand up it slips down.
So I’ve been wearing a very firm sports bra instead.
I’ve just taken it off for a break and can feel tingling sensations down my back and side of my breast. I guess it’s because I’m now allowing fluid to move around.
Am I doing the right thing by wearing a tight sports bra and does this sound like it might be too tight?
I’m currently living abroad so looking for alts on Amazon Japan but not finding anything that seems like the right level of support or that’s specifically for a lumpectomy.
Thanks for your post. It sounds as if you’re having problems with lingerie following your lumpectomy.
