Post menopausal bleeding while on chemo

Hi
Pre my chemo starting in Dec 24 i came off hrt early Dec. Im currently going through chemo and experiencing bleeding. I think its vaginal, light using panty liner, comes and goes. Is this to be expected?

Hi hucky345

Thanks for posting.

Its natural to wonder why you are experiencing vaginal bleeding and to ask if this is to be expected.

Its difficult to say what this may be due to or if it is associated with stopping HRT, the chemotherapy, or something else such as infection.

We would suggest that you talk to your treatment team as they have all the details about your individual situation and can check this for you. If you are unable to easily contact your treatment team, you may want to call the 24-hour contact number you were given when you started chemotherapy to ask about this.
