Post-op protection

Evening All,

I had a mammoplasty yesterday and thought I should pass on a tip from another BC buddy. She recommended taking a cardboard hospital “sick bucket” home and sticking it over the affected breast to cushion from the inevitable bumps. Sadly, I couldn’t fill a sick bucket even pre-op, but am currently rocking a onesie at home - easy to out on and warm - with a round tupperwear bowl underneath. Not very rock and roll but works a treat! And thanks to whoever recommended walking poles and supportive footwear- to my surprise I managed a couple of cautious loops of our village today.

So there are a few phrases i never thought I would write…

Thanks for the tip , a cushion or pillow is a must for return journey from hospital as the seatbelt goes right across your chest , v painful without some sort of protection . No heard of the sick bowl idea before !!
