Hi can anyone recommend a good post surgery bra please the hospital don’t do one my size and I’m having a mammoplasty on both and left side axillary clearance. They have told me I need to find my own but I’m struggling and thought maybe someone else has found some that are also not horrendously priced

I haven’t had mammoplasty - lumpectomy and SNB only but I have a broad back with a relatively small cup and I’ve always had problems getting the right size bra. I’m a 42D/C or 44C depending on the bra and have liked M+S post - surgery bras both the hook up one and the cami one. I could probably go back to wearing ordinary bras but these are so much comfier than the ones I used to wear.
The bras have prosthesis pockets and are classed as surgical appliances so if you buy online to be delivered or Click and Collect they deduct VAT automatically , if you buy in-store you may have to sign something to say that you’re post- surgery .
The Flexifit crop tops are not classed as surgical appliances but they are good as well , think I’ve seen someone on another thread recommend them . They have inserts that can be removed and I use these in the prothesis pockets of the bras as my right boob is now smaller than the left and the M+ S hook up bra doesn’t come with any padding and doesn’t lie flat beneath clothes without some sort of insert.

Oh no ! Yes I have found they do sometimes run out of stock especially in certain sizes and in black , but it usually come back in again fairly soon . In that case I hope you find something .
Maybe give the helpline a ring I know I’ve seen a lists of stockists somewhere on the main site but as to where exactly I couldn’t say .
