Can anyone advise on a good post surgery bra? I have bought 4 from a major high st retailer and have found them to be really uncomfortable under the breast area. At the moment I have resorted to wearing a crop top/ sleep bra. I purchased 2 online from Amazon from a retailer called Bafully, they have been comfortable and supportive but not the most prettiest of looking.
I’m looking for some comfort and something pretty to make me feel confident with the new changes to my body. Thank you
Were a lot cheaper than NicolaJane and Amoena. But I went to Womanzone, nr Warrington, to be properly “fitted” first, to ensure they were comfy. Then just ordered more of the same when I needed. They fitted me up with some new prostheses too. Walked out feeling like a million dollars
Mind you, that was back in 2006/07, so I don’t know the current state of going somewhere to actually be properly “fitted”. Except that M&S jumped on the fitting bandwagon.
Cancer research uk seem to stock quite a few bras which was a surprise to me. I have decided that ordinary bras may be better. I can now get into a few of my old ones. They are a lot more flattering than sports bras. I think I am a 34B but not sure. It’s best to try a few out I think. Rigby and Peller are a great shop to visit if you are in the London area near the Albert Hall. Or could have a visit to London and stay over at a hotel to go there… Rigby and Peller were by appointment to the Queen.
