Finished chemo, surgery and radiotherapy. Now on dose 10 of 17 Herceptin. I recently had a fall and am not managing to cope with the resultant injury. Based on years of experience, I know that one deep tissue massage would resolve it. Problem is that I’m not eligible for treatment due to Covid.
I wonder how long it takes for the immunosuppressed period to pass after an injection of Herceptin? Given the extent of the problems arising from my musculoskeletal injury, I am considering postponing the next Herceptin injection in order to restore my immune system. Obviously this is something I will discuss with my oncology team, but I wonder if anyone can offer any feedback in the meantime - I’d be really grateful.

I had all 18 Herceptin injections but there have been trials that say 9 or even 3 of them are as good as the entire 18.

So perhaps that will help you decide. Good luck with whatever you do.
