Hi Had the scan on Monday and a call from the Consultant on Tuesday. A couple of other “Items” were found. One a shadow on my lung sowas booked for Covin 19 swab yesterday ( an extremely uncomfortable procedure) Result telephone call expected today. Hoping above all it will be Negative as I have been self isolating and want Radiotherapy to commence on 14th May .
Fingers crosssed for you. Radiotherapy itself causes a permanent shadow at the top of the lung so this will be why they are being ultra cautious, in addition to the chance of an existing infection. As you’ve been self-isolating, it’s likely to be something historic you’ve long forgotten about. Good luck with the radiotherapy x
