I had a cavity shave and ALND on Tuesday. I was told to remove the big white pressure dressing in 48 hours which has now passed. It’s stuck so tight, I can’t get it off easily. It itches so I want to take it off. Would using vaseline around the edges loosen it? Not sure how to get it off without a lot of pain! Thanks

Thanks for posting.
You may find using sterile water and cotton wool or gauze will help to loosen the adhesive, or you can buy adhesive spray or wipes from most chemists.
If you’re worried about removing the dressing or have concerns about your wound, you can talk to your breast nurse or practice nurse at your GP.
