I know its probably nothing, I just want to “hear” someone say that. No lump but for about 4 days ive had a small very tender area just at the outer edge of my nipple, like its bruised, but there is no bruise and I havent hurt myself. Today I also have some sharp pains darting about this breast. Should I see my GP? I hate thinking im wasting their time. I know pain isnt usually a symptom of cancer so its probably nothing. Right?

It is probably nothing, and you could maybe have banged it without realising. I would say with things as you describe it give it another few days and see if it settles down. If it gets worse, then make an appointment to see your GP. Do call the helpline if you want to talk it through with someone.
