My daughter went to pick up my monthy exemestane (Aromasin) prescription from Boots today, only to be told they don’t make it anymore! Has anyone else heard this? If it’s true, what do you take instead?
I’m in a bit of a panic about it at the moment!

I picked my prescription up last week and no probs. Did they mean that brand perhaps?
Thanks for the reply Marli. If it was that brand I guess I could understand, and I would have assumed they would offer a generic version? But she definitely said no more at all, and that I would have to go back to my doctor to get something else. It’s very odd. I will ring the doctor on Monday. If it had been yesterday I would have thought it was an April fool!
