Have somebody got some problems with zoladex? My doctor said periods must to finish. I use zoladex 8 month every 4 weeks. I still have my periods.I would like to know how often I have to see my doctor (surgeron or onkologist I dont know which one are checing people after mastectomy in England). How it is in England? My mastectomy have been done on 23.08.2010.I am in England from 15.01.2010.Operation and chemo I did abroad. I am back from 15.03.2011. Untill this I met 1x just breast surgeron who did some invesigations. In country where I did operation and treatment, the first two years after treatment have to be examined (checked) four times per year by onkologist. Can somebody to give advice? I will be glad to hear some expierence.
Hi - I also had periods while on Zoladex. The Zoladex was not working and I was taken off it and put on Tamoxifen. Talk to your oncologist as soon as you are able to.
How I can to join with my doctor if GP said sometimes it’happen. I even dont know how often doctor must to see and check me.And if I try to join with my doctor - secretary always asked why, what’s matter? I dont want to share my problems with her. This is like one aunt is talking to other aunt.May be this is just my feeling wich is wrong. But I always jused to speak just to doctors Every where where I had been- Germany, Spain,Latvia, even Russia thinks are going like this.Doctor gave me phone number on which I can to call and speak straight to doctor if I got problems.Of course not every day and not every time. But 2 hours per week doctor is on this phone. If he is not able to speak he after allways call back. If I got serious problems no any secretaries! In other coutries they are not empowered even to ask about medical problems. Sometimes I feel - doctors in this countrie are like kings and queens - beyond the reach. But does not matter - now I am here and can any body give any advice how I can to manage my problems. To be honestly I never make any treatment in UK.I am confused. Everything is going slowly and so complicated. I am still doing some lectures as a guest lecturer for medical students abroad in Latvia and Germany. Maybe someone can share own experience how to make faster doctor visits.
