DX: April 08 with poorly differentiated invasive ductal cancer
Size: 4.8 cm
Grade: III
Adequate surgical margins, ER-, no node involvement or cancer cells in the vascular system, HER2-.
Had a therapeutic mammoplasty to remove the tumour and a mastopexy reduction on the other side to stop me being lopsided 11 days after dx. Then had IVF prior to chemo and have 3 little embryos in a freezer somewhere.
Had 3 of 6 FEC so far, to be followed by 6 weeks of radiotherapy - every other day - so Monday, Wednesday Friday one week and Tuesday and Thursday the next. Five weeks on whole breast and one week booster to exact spot.
No history of BC in family.

Live with partner of two and a half years. Formerly married for 21 years.
Dx infiltrating stage 2 lobular breast cancer, no node involvement March 2005, after FNA, core biopies and lumpectomy.
No rads or chemo
Bilateral mastectomies followed by reconstruction with silicone implants.
Problems with recon due to infection. Final recon December 05.
On Tamoxifen for 5 years. Was switched to Arimidex a few months ago, but couldn’t tolerate, switched back to Tamoxifen.
Liver scare in Jan/Feb due to two small patches on liver on ultrasound. Later MRI said a cyst and hemangioma !!
