I am with Clair def M&S knickers and not the litle ones, I like to feel comfortable.
Well the weather today has been lovely in Brummieland, but rather cold and it was a pain having to deice my car this morning, but give me a lovely bright pink sky with the birds singing any day and I am happy. Just noticed the daffs are poking their heads up through the soil ooohhhh Spring is just around the corner.
I was distraught last night, came home from work and there was no bowls to watch as it all finished on Sunday 
:) Only 12 weeks now until the outdoor season starts, boy are you going to get bored hearing this, but at least I have stopped talking about my new mattress, Charys

Thanks Janry, I’ll look that exercise up. Rolling with baked bean cans (other foods available) before bed certainly seems to help the morning pain.

Grrr I am so annoyed! (Sorry, rant warning…)
I got my first ever Sainsbury online shop delivered yesterday. I rejected the cauliflower that was the size of a sprout, but everything else seemed okay. And now I have just gone to start cooking and the salmon is pongy. So I checked the date…and it was use-by …yesterday. It had ten hours of shelf life when they delivered.
So, last minute change of plan for dinner tonight and that is my last ever Sainsbury shop. At least Tesco warn you in big print at the top of the sheet if something has a short date, and the driver points it out to you. But I’ve never had anything that was out of date by the next day.
Frilly knickers…definitely not a fan of scratchy lace, but M&S do some nice soft stretchy lace ones. Does anyone else keep special underwear just for taking on holiday? Or is that TMI?

I’m surprised about Sainsbury’s Dizzy they always put short dates on my paperwork and the driver always tells me too. I left Tesco when the substituted toilet roll for 4 large potatoes ? not sure what the thinking was behind that ??
I do have holiday pants not that we go away very often and most importantly hospital appointment pants very sensible ones that match the colour of my bra ? Mind you I’m going to have to update them now as I’ve got new different coloured bras !!
I’ve had a horrible day at work today some people can be so mean I’m a bit tired and over emotional so found it upsetting but never mind I’m home now .

Janey, good for you getting away on time, and going to fat club as well, very virtuous. We’ve tried a couple of the Tom Kerridge recipes, the lasagne made with layers of tomatoes and courgettes was really nice. But I’m trying to do low carb and most of his recipes aren’t.
Clair, hope you’re having a glass of wine after a rotten day, you don’t need people like that, you’ve enough things of your own to deal with. But I hope things are still going okay with the new teacher?
Helena, I sent them a blistering email and await developments…at the very least I want a refund since my fillets are going to stink out the food bin till Friday.
Knickers - Naaaaaa, told ya’s. Don’t do. Stopped wearing a couple of years ago. Only do thongs. The comfiest ones are £17 a pair!! I vay, seriously! Less costs more. They’re Beautiful, but I do floss my teeth with them when they’re done!!!

Thongs? Comfortable? I obviously didn’t pay enough for mine, I thought they were more like medieval torture instruments.
Finally defeated Sainsbury’s, who tried to fob me off with an e-voucher for my next shop. I think I’m a confirmed Tesco gal. Though I haven’t yet had any wacky substitutions, potatoes for toilet paper had me in stitches. I think the only one I’ve ever had was frozen crushed ginger for frozen crushed garlic.

apologies for my Scarlet Pimpernell impersonation the last few weeks. I’ve been keeping as busy as possible, trying to build my stamina back up…thought I better had as I’m looking for work again. ThInk it would be a shock to the system otherwise.
Looks like there’s a huge amount to catch up on here…the word ‘thongs’ sprang out from the top post. I dread to think lol.
For the the first time since my surgery September 2016 I am pain free. I can finally sleep on my BC side and I have so much energy. I really feel that I have turned a corner and that I’m ready to fight the world again…albeit on a slightly smaller scale than before lol. I have now lost 3st 7.5lbs and am loving being able to by smaller clothes, although hubby would argue against the effect on our bank balance ??, and I attended my first Zumba class on Monday night. It was an absolute scream and I was useless with no sense of coordination, and developed a pattern of going against the flow of direction ? but I LOVED it and can’t wait to go back next week. I genuinely feel like me again.
Interview tomorrow ???. Weirdly looking forward to it. Not holding my breath about gettzing it but if nothing else it’ll be good practice for the next one whenever that may be.
So, for all those fluffies out there struggling, feeling like things will never be the same again - and I was the biggest one of these… IT WILL. There is a new normal and it is what you make it. Yes we have limitations but we can adapt around them and live a full life. Keep going, you’ll get there I promise.

good luck with fat club tomorrow!!! Joining SW was the best decision I have made in a long time and I don’t think I could have done it without the lovely bunch of ladies there. There are some inspirational people there that’s for sure.
It is weird how we start to feel ‘like me’ again, and how long it takes. I still get tired and still get hot flushes during the night but as you say, I think I have accepted this is the version of me just now. No point worrying about the stuff I can’t change!

Helena Yes, I stuck to my guns and got refunded. Maybe it was a bit cheeky because I used a voucher to get £20 off my first shop, that’s why I decided to give them a go. It’s not a supermarket I use because they’re a lot further away. So it’s not an experiment I’ll repeat, I’ll stick to Tesco for basics and Waitrose and M&S for the nice things.
Beth, how lovely to hear how well you’re doing, I wondered how things were after your op, you said it could be very slow to heal on the radiated side? But you’re a real inspiration to us on so many fronts. So good luck for tomorrow, you deserve to get what you want after the way you’ve dealt with everything .
