Morning Fluffies everywhere
After quite an interesting day yesterday I’ve decided to just stay home and process what’s going on , I’ve managed to get a drs appointment so I can go through the scan results with them and make sure I get a gyne referral asap I’m also going to ring the bc nurse to get some support and have a chat about the tamoxifen to see if it has any bearing.
Hope you all have a fab Friday and keep warm as it’s very chilly out
Love and hugs to you all ? Clair xxxxx
Morning all
Clair, you’ve had a lot on your plate really ever since being diagnosed, it’s been a whole heap to deal with. So I hope the doctor and the BCN can help to make sense of what’s going on, and whether the tamoxifen is a factor in this. You need a nice lazy weekend of being looked after, it’s too cold for doing much anyway.
Helena, hope you’re well my friend, you’re still very quiet!
We’re off for a very chilly walk in Wareham Forest this afternoon, so need to wrap up warm. I still have a cleaner who comes on Friday afternoons so I like to be out of the house so I don’t feel guilty. I started having a cleaner when I had my first lot of surgery, and only intended to keep it up till the radiotherapy was finished, but she’s a treasure, and I’ve been really grateful to have her during various other things happening over the last eighteen months.
Hi I managed to get to see my dr this morning and she talked me through everything saying it’s quite normal to have blood in a cyst and to do an internal ultrasound. The results weren’t through yet but she’s going to check in personally on Monday and Tuesday to see what’s what then she’ll do the referral she said if it’s under urgent I’ll be seen within 2 weeks but still not to panic otherwise it’ll be just a general referral so I’ll know more next week. The great thing is my ovarian blood test came in at 11 so that’s brill. I’m just waiting to hear from the breast nurse now but I wanted to let you know I’m feeling much calmer lots of love Clair xxx
So glad to hear you’re feeling a bit better about it all Clair, you’ve certainly been through the mill with all of this & also good to hear, your Dr has been reassuring about it all.

Morning glories and what a glorious morning it is here. Everything seems so much better when the sun shines, although please do an anti snow dance - even if you are normally snow queens (that’s you Ruby and Charys!). I shall allow you all snow from Wednesday morning onwards, once we have safely delivered my girl and her man to Heathrow on Tuesday. Dreading saying goodbye but thrilled for them. She’s on her way back for her last weekend in Devon and I have instructions to make lasagne (not bad from a couple of chefs!), so guessing won’t be a good weekend for this fatfighter (although 11lbs so far and feeling a lot lighter on my feet!). Helena I shall enjoy food vicariously from your freezer!
Anyway, radio silence from me for a while and many apologies. Good to see you here Sue C and little fairy. Definitely the place for the odd meltdown and support from those in the know. Dizzy don’t ditch your cleaner, if it makes a difference then it is worth the treat and you’ve had a heck of a time the last year or so. Clair, I’m so glad you got to that GP and had some proper advice and support. Wish my magic wand would work again …
Yesterday was a tough day for friends. I was told by one she is having breast surgery on Friday (has been told it should be benign, so hoping she is okay. I met with another friend last night for pictures and a pizza (oops!) and was asked if a friend of hers could get in touch as just diagnosed with BC. We’d just finished talking about it when I had a text from the most wonderful friend, to tell me she had found a lump and being sent for a mammogram. I have to say it floored me and am so glad I’m feeling stronger, so I hope I can support her in the way she did me. Needless to say they have all been pointed in the direction of this website and away from Google.
Ann are you back yet? When I log on via laptop and not the phone I can’t scroll through the thread. Anyway, sending buckets of love to you all, wrap up warm and enjoy the sunshine xxx
Evening fluffies

We had an expensive trip to Bridport today somehow I got a nail in my tyre and it was totally flat !! We got the guy at ATS to put the spare on so we could get home as they didn’t have the tyre we needed luckily all sorted now but not a great start to the weekend! Glad I’ve got an emergency credit card xx
Hope everyone is doing ok and keeping warm love and hugs xxx
Okay so where did the earache and sore throat come from so quickly, its flipping annoying
Thanks Ladies, I’ll have a look x.
Hugs Helena xx
Hope you feel better quickly Helena, that came on very suddenly.
It’s a lovely sunny morning here, I hope we keep the sunshine during the big freeze.
OMG, it’s soooo cold ? & the house is freezing. There are snow flurries outside & the & 30c is now a distant memory!!! ?
Fortunately, the central heating is behaving itself & the cats were pleased to see us & are now following us everywhere mewing & purring.
I do hope your girl gets off alright tomorrow Janey, there was certainly no problem at the airports today. Also, well done on losing 11lbs, I could certainly do with losing a few pounds after our hols so will have to work on it
Do hope you’re feeling better, Helena
Hugs to you all ?

Well come back Ann, hope you acclimatize quickly. Is there snow forecast for you?
I’m going to my mother’s tomorrow, so I’m hoping it stays clear. The road is very pretty, with some lovely views of the coast, but there is a high and windy stretch just before Bridport which gets the snow if there is any. And my mother lives down a lane in the middle of nowhere, quite high up so they often get it when we don’t. So fingers crossed for no dramas. I love snow, but not when I have to drive.
Helena, it looks like you’ll be in the thick of it again, you must have had so much this year.
Hope you’re all keeping warm Fluffies, hugs to all.

Hello lovely fluffies
Well we have had a few flurries here but they really have not amounted to much but boy is it cold
Hope everyone is in the warm and keeping well xxxx
Evening all
Well I made it safely there and back despite the road being closed due to an accident. I got diverted onto tiny lanes with loads of ice so it was a bit nerve wracking, but all was well. There were lots of flurries of snow on the way home, and a good dusting of snow on the ground. I hope Janey has got her daughter to Heathrow okay, and got home safely.
We seem to have an amber warning for snow on Thursday and Friday so we’ll hunker down with the logburner. I expect it’ll turn out to be a bit of a false alarm.
Love to all

We have SNOW ??? not enough for a snowman but it’s covered the garden so I’m a happy girl.
Dizzy glad your got to your mums and back home safely xxx
Helena stay safe if you have to go out xxx we’ve got a warning for Thursday but as we’re in a bit if a valley I bet we won’t get much.
Janey sending you a big squeezy hug ? your girl is going to have such a fantastic time I know you’ll miss her but she’ll be back before you know it xxxxxx
Welcome back Ann xxxx
It’s Macsen’s 1st birthday today I can’t believe how quickly the time has flown by ! we went up on Sunday to spend the day with them and had a wonderful time, he’s nearly walking and so chatty it’s getting harder to leave them all his dad is such a good dad it makes my head swell to see how much he loves his little family It was definitely what I needed. I haven’t heard from the drs yet so I’m taking it as she’s arranging the referral I’d be glad if it was sooner rather than later so I can move on .
Anyway love and hugs to you all hope you all keep warm and safe if you need to travel in this weather xxxxxxxxxx
I meant to say heart swell not head ? Silly predicted text xx
Clair
Happy grannyversary for yesterday, that’s gone so quickly.
Ann, are you buried under a deluge, that will be surreal after sitting on a beach a few days ago.
I’m going to do anything that requires taking the car today, our local roads aren’t gritted. I’m off to the garden centre to look at seeds for the allotment, but I’m going with a friend, so I can see coffee and cake being part of the trip. I can’t diet in minus temperatures…
Have a good day all
Xx
<Empty imported post>
I had to go into work until 12.30 but then they made the decision to close until Monday so that means I get 4 and a half days off ? Lovely the snow is slow and steady so it’ll be interesting to see what happens later. Keep safe and warm everyone love and hugs to you all xxxx
What an amazing snow day! I worked from home today and again tomorrow looking at TV pictures and forecast. Amazing services working so hard. In years gone by we would have been expected to turn up to the nearest base, but we no longer have authority Care homes and community hospitals in our town, so laptop and admin for me. I made OH walk me to weigh in but not sure it was worth the slippy trip, as only 1/2 a lb lost! Mind you, it was rather a cold half hour in the garden trying to get the cat in afterwards, so must have burned off some energy! Daft animal too deep for her to walk through. I hope you are all able to stay put in the warm tomorrow, not worth the risk to go out. Xx
Morning all
Janey’s I too have just had to rescue the cat from the garden she’s one very unhappy girl ? The snow is so deep in all her favourite places and she kept falling through? she’s finally managed to do her business and just stood there looking at me like she was saying we’ll come and get me then. We’re both snuggled back in bed me with a coffee and the heatings on. The things we do for love Helena it looks like we’re in for some more later too xx
Dizzy , Rubycat, Ann and Delly and everyone else I hope your all ok and keeping warm and safe xxx
