Hey!
Dealing with mets in both lungs. We had scan results back this week after 3 months on Kadcyla.
One lung is now clear but the other showed progression?
Has anyone had chemo both work and not work simultaneously please?
Thanks

Hi zoe
That sounds really confusing. Did you ask the oncologist what it meant? Maybe a call to your breast care nurse would help clarify it?
I have a similar situation but with different mets. My tumour (back of my nose) is showing only a small progression on chemo (less than 1mm in 4 months, compared to 2mm in the previous 4 months) but I’m getting new skin mets and some are getting bigger and harder. Scans are all clear, the MRIs reassuring, but my tumour marker shows activity and I can only think it’s the skin mets. My oncologist wants to wait and see and keep me on the same chemo regime (capecitabine) for as long as it controls the tumour. I trust his judgment - he’s given me so much support - but it does feel confusing.
Hope you get some answers. Take care
