Hello. I am 5 years post diagnosis of BC and have lymphoedema in my right arm and fingers. I keep getting cellulitis with no obvious reason (cuts, bites etc) so my lymphoedema nurse asked my GP to put me on a low dose (250mg) daily antibiotic tablet to review after a year. Has anyone had this treatment? Initially my GP refused but then agreed but this was over the phone and no one has discussed any possible side effects with me and I am nervous about building up resistance to antibiotics as I am allergic to penicillin. Any advice please? Michele x
