I had my first prostap on Tuesday and ever since my breast with the cancer has been tender and sore could it be related. The nurses at breast unit say I’m just more aware. But it def is hurting
Hi linz1314,
Thank for posting.
Breast tenderness is a common side effect from leuprorelin (Prostap) injections. This is usually related to changes in hormone levels. It sounds as though you have already spoken to your breast care nurse about this. Often side effects settle, but if the tenderness continues or gets worse do speak to your breast care nurse again.
