Hi all, Having had my mastectomy/reconstruction/LD flap in April 08 followed by chemo/radio ending in November I have just had my 1st mammogram on other boob and while there I asked my BNC about my tightness in my reconstruction still after a year and she told me that protective tissue has grown around the implant as my body thinks it shouldn’t be there. I have now got to see my surgeon re removing this tissue. Has anyone else had this done? Lyn x
