Quarterly CT Scan not the usual areas

Hi everyone

Apart from my original CT scan, when SBC was suspected and I had a full body scan, all CT scans over the last 18 months have been Chest, Abdomen and Pelvis: I have tumours in a rib, spine and a hip.

It was only when I went for the scan today that I realised I wasn’t having the usual scan - I had Neck, Thorax and Abdomen. Very surprised my Pelvis wasn’t included as they keep mentioning I need a plate put into the hip, which I have refused, and they are keeping an eye on it.

Given this, I am now wondering whether when I have had my monthly telephone conversations, have I said something that has led them to request different areas for scanning on this occasion? Although I have no idea what I could have said.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Many thanks
Jan
