Hello,
A radical scar was discovered during my mammogram earlier this year and after a core needle biopsy and a several diagnostic mammograms this year, I have decided to have an excision of the RS next month. I’m wondering what the recovery experience has been for others? How soon could you resume normal activities and exercise? I do strength training every week and wondering, how many weeks will I need to postpone. I understand this is a day procedure and time away from work is minimal. I take the bus to work so, will it be necessary to lighten my back pack for a few weeks? What else can I expect?

Hi Ladybug,
I’ve just been diagnosed with a radial scar, I’m just wondering how you got on? Did you have surgical removal or vacuum biopsy removal? The latter is what they’ve suggested but I’m not confident they will get it all after what I’ve read. Hope you’re ok.
Thanks xx
