Radio 4 womens hour - trial re use of CBT to assist re hot flushes

Hi,

Just in case anyone is interested, there was an interesting article on todays Womens hour (3 July 2017) about a trial involving the use of cognitive behavioural therapy to assist women in dealing with/managing hot flushes. Programme available on bbc i-player.

I confess I was only half listening since I was getting ready to go out, my impression was it was to do with assisting to reduce feelings of panic/zoning out etc when having a sudden mega hot flush? You might want to listen to it if this is of concern to you?

The programme is also asking for comments/opinions/views from women for a session sometime this week about when to tell someone you are dating about a key/significant matter, they gave examples of someone who for example has children or a disabled child, aware this may equally be of interest to some women on the forum.
