Hi, is anyone else starting radiotherapy this week or next? I’m scheduled for 20 rads starting Friday.
I’ve not had chemo - just (just, ha!) 2 surgeries and SNLB.

Hi CatherineJ,
We have some very supportive users on our Radiotherapy board, so I have moved your post there to give users more of a chance to respond. You may also want to post on a thread that has already been started by users called March Rads.
In the meantime you can always call ourhelplinefor a chat at 0808 800 6000 who will be able to discuss any questions you may have and offer a supportive ear.
Best wishes,
Lizzy
I am set to have start 15 sessions on the 29th, I have very fair skin so I don’t sunbathe, I use only non sls paraben free lotions and potions anyway so I am obviously concerned about what is or may/may not happen. It seems that ppl are listening to their CN which is good and what we are supposed to do. I to had 2 surgeries and SNLB. I’m sorry this does not help you but I too am stuck as to what to do here.
Dee ,there is a thread “March rads ??” ,where a few ladies going brought radiotherapy now or about to start are talking why don’t you join them?It is true that fairer skinned people may have more reaction to radiotherapy but the radiotherapy team/ oncologist will advise you on creams that you can use dependent on what side effects you get.Good luck.Jill
