Im just curious if anyone has had radiotherapy under 30? And what your experiences were.
I was diagnosed this April at 24. ER+ PR+ HER-. I had a right mastectomy in May, 2/3 lymphnodes were found to have cancer cells and so I started 6 rounds of Chemo in July. Im coming up for my 6th and final round October 19 but now the question is whether or not to go ahead with radiotherapy.
My oncologist mentioned that due to my age the risks and they dont usually recommend it. He has asked his colleagues in Cambridge which half of them came back saying they think I should. But I’m still yet to have my full lymphnode axillary and left breast preventive surgery.
I think for now we’ve decided to see if any more lymphnodes have been affected before making a decision Im just so worried to make the wrong one.
