Hi there, I was wondering if anyone else has just started radiotherapy? I have my 2nd one today but the fatigue after the first one is unreal!! I was fully expecting to feel a bit tired then like a truck hit me 2 weeks after the end of treatment. The truck came early…..Anyone else?
I finished my 5 days last Friday but fatigue has been quite gentle so far and only really arrived midweek.
Make sure you’re drinking plenty of water, especially in this heat. I read somewhere that makes a big difference. I was drinking a whole bottle of water in the car on the way home as my husband drove me there to avoid parking panics.
I also used Flamigel 3 times a day and took an antihistamine and ibuprofen at bedtime that seemed to help.
I’ve cleared everything and stopped going to Pilates to make sure I’m rested as I need to get father in law to his operation next week.

Thank you, I really do think if I drink any more I should just live in the toilet…..
I am so glad it’s gone well for you so far. I am using Aveeno but maybe Flamigel is a good shout.
Fingers crossed you find helping your father in law manageable.
