Hello,
After neo adjuvant chemo via cannula then mastectomy, I have started Kadcyla treatment and am due to start radiotherapy in August. I will have a picc line this week for the Kadcyla, as my veins are no good any longer. Will this be a problem for the radiotherapy? I had my planning scan without it.
Hi coral1
Thanks for posting.
Having a PICC line inserted is unlikely to cause a problem for your radiotherapy treatment. However, you can ring the radiotherapy department at the hospital you are attending and check with them.
