Hi lovely people i have twice had my chemo delayed due to high inflammation levels in my Liver blood tests and other Liver functions.
I started chemo Nov and have only had 2 lots due to this and bow the 3rd has been put on hold for the levels to come down again its such a worry . I have stage 3 Breast cancer
Has anyone else experienced this and any advise i would be grateful x

is it your ALT levels in your liver?.. mine were around 10 to 14 for 4 months in chemo then suddenly one week went up to 104 ( cut off is 55) … the nurses contacted my ONC who was happy for chemo still to go ahead …but the nurses said other ONCs would have delayed…anyway the next week it was down to 48 … in normal range but still high for me… maybe talk to your oncology nurse … it’s worrying when they delay chemo Isn’t it… mine was once delayed due to worsening peripheral neuropathy… and I panicked about it all week… there’s often no rhyme or reason as to why our blood levels go up and down… hope you get sorted very soon
