Hi. I am recently diagnosed with secondary breast cancer(after 20 years) in femur. It fractured. Urgent Total hip replacement, some of the tumour left behind. Started Ribociclib, but allergic reaction on day 3. Said no thanks to Abemaciclib. On Letrozole & Denosumab.
Any thoughts and advice. Tired, joint pain, hip pain but otherwise cracking on !

Sorry tomorrow read of your secondary diagnosis. I had my secondaries found about 18 months ago. I have been on chemotherapy since then I hope you get on well with your medication as I know many people do find it doable. I’m not able to help with your particular meds as I’ve not had them due to being TNBC. I hope that things go well for you xx
It’s hard to say no thanks to offered medication. But quality of life & ability to travel to Africa to see my family is so important to me. Especially now x
I understand. I’m finding it almost impossible to travel and I can see why you would want to avoid treatments that make that difficult when you have family to visit too. I do seriously think about stopping chemo sometimes as quality of life can be less than I would like.
