Hi, dx 2 years ago, had mast and now at 2 year mammo on remaining breast they called me back, did 3 more mammos, (cone mammo) they said for more detail. Doc called me tonight and I go for ultrasound in 3 days time. They say “we see a change from last years mammogram, it could be normal tissue but we want to check thoroughly” are they just playing safe whilst scaring the heck out of me or should I really be worried about this? Thanks everyone.
I do think they play safe especially now with litigation and all the news stories. I also think that you shouldnt worry until something to worry about (yes, easier said than done) and instead just be grateful for all the attention and investigation that could bring a definite result one way or another. We like thorough investigation and then a more definite answer.
I had my first check booked for 17th December but cancelled it as didnt want any worry over Christmas so will go in January.

Thanks Daisy do, Yes I am very grateful that they are checking thoroughly, was having a bad day when I posted but am feeling much better about it now, got some sleep the past 2 nights that always helps me to cope better.
