Summary
A nine-year joint research project has led to a crucial breakthrough in cancer research. Scientists have clarified how the Warburg effect, a phenomenon in which cancer cells rapidly break down sugars, stimulates tumor growth. This discovery provides evidence for a positive correlation between sugar and cancer, which may have far-reaching impacts on tailor-made diets for cancer patients.

Very interesting Moijan. .guess I need to eat sprouts and broccoli more !

Hi Moijan, had just read this and had an email update about it from Chris Woollams at CANCERactive, hopefully Oncologists will read it too! Amazing that it has only taken about 80 years for Warburg’s work to be fully acknowledged when he won a nobel prize back in the 1930’s!! Fingers crossed it doesn’t take so long for research about gut bacteria to be recognised. Did you find out if you can take CoEnzymeQ10? Hope you’re well on this freezing cold day Kxx
