Recommendation for UK expert in TNBC - facing third dx of BC, this time Triple Negative

I have just been diagnosed with triple negative BC. This is my third diagnosis with BC but the first time as triple negative.

I was initially diagnosed with BC in 2005 with a recurrence in 2008. At that time I was ER positive and had surgery and chemotherapy on each occasion.

I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer again and this time advised it is triple negative.

Given my history I am very keen to seek a second opinion with an expert in TNBC in order to help me fully understand the treatment options available to me this time.

If anybody has any feedback on experts or centres of excellence I would be hugely grateful.

Sorry you find yourself here again :heart: when I was TNBC 2017-2018 I kept an eye on what was happening over at MD Anderson in Texas, treatments for TNBC have changed so much since I had my treatment, but might be worth googling and Anderson and seeing what they’re doing on TNBC front so you can discuss with your consultant :heart::two_hearts::two_hearts::sparkles::sparkles:Shi xx

My daughter recently passed away from tripple negative breast cancer.

I don’t want to scaremongering you but if we don’t get the drug Enhertu into this country we Don’t have a leg to stand on.

I am going to start campaigning soon for this as why do Europe & America have the drug for tripple negative but for positive.

Hi can I ask where you have the tnbc and did you only have part of your breast removed from previous cancer is it same breast

Sorry for your loss if you don’t mind me asking what age was she and how long did she have it was she diagnosed stage 4 from first diagnosis I am really curious about it as I have had it and am in the middle of getting radiotherapy I had stage 3 and had double masectomy and reconstruction with implants and 8 lymph nodes removed but cancer was completely gone except one lymph node that became cancerous during chemo but they said I am cancer free and that it was a good response as I refused immunotherapy with the chemo

Sami was diagnosed stage for right from the beginning..2 years ago..it was in her breastbone & left breast.

It was metastatic breast cancer tripple negative.

It spread to her lymph nodes & had immunotherapy,radiotherapy & chemotherapy.

They couldn’t operate as it was fungul & came out of her breast..it was too late.

The treatments never worked & Eventually it spread to her brain & lungs.

If we’d have had Enhertu for tripple negative it may have extended her life for a few days.
