It’s a small charity but helpful if you are wondering what the different kinds of reconstruction look like. You can talk to people who have had a reconstruction and see the results rather than look at photos.
I will still struggle to imagine how my body will look, and no doubt worry about the phantom breast syndrome, pain I may get etc, but it’s in the lap of the gods what will happen as I have no alternative. It’s got to go if I am going to stay alive as long as my mum who is now 95.
Mind you I would be happy with 20 years as mum’s got Alzheimer’s and I would rather avoid that.
