Recurance after risk reducing surgery?

I was diagnosed in Feb '13, had lumpectomy, chemo and radiotherapy. Lymph nodes were clear. A year after diagnosis I discovered that I am BRCA1 positive and have decided to have risk reducing surgery. I am 7 weeks post hysterectomy and see the breast surgeon next week to start planning double mastectomy and reconstruction. I had though that once the surgery and recover are over, I can just get on with my life and never have to worry again. But can I really?? I have read lots recently about secondary breast cancer and don’t know if I am stil at risk of this?
