Hi, first time poting here, but looking for support …I was diagnosed with Left BC back in 2020, had a mastectomy with reconstruction DIEP early 2021, plus 15 session of radiotherapy. Tamoxifen fir 5 years (ER/PR+Her-, no node involved-8cm DCIS high grade, with a small 5mm (grade 2 IDC ). Recurrence on left breast tissue /skin late last year. Grade 2 ER/PR+ HER low, node clear. PET/CT clear, but MRI showed an enlarged node on the right size. Ultrasound showed cortical thickening, punch biopsy positive for BC (waiting receptors). Initial plan was Zoladex plus letrazole and zometa every 6 months. I am lost and not sure what is happening and what will be next. The team reviewed the PET and knowing now that there was something on the right side, can see it on the PET very light .. booked for a full body MRI.. one suggestion may be that this is a recurrence on the right lymphnode as the lymphamatic system has been disturbed and sometines it can go from left to right…Anyone seen or heard this? Trying hard to stay positive …thank you
