Recurrence with no lymph node involvement

Best of luck with test.

Two things! I had no node involvement after mastectomy but then two years later passed mammogram on other side but through an ultrasound they found an affected node and have since had node clearance surgery, chemo and rads. For yearly check as your Mx breast can’t be mammogrammed nb to get an ultrasound to check nothing affected. If I didn’t have this I would never have found the node as was buried deep.

Second thing; it’s good to remember that most of the great women on this site are unfortunately on this site due to ongoing treatment. Many others who have had breast cancer and are recovered with no recurrence are living their lives. So don’t be too freaked out as I know for me I found all the cases quite scary and had to remind myself that people who are happily recovered are not here to post. Same goes with side effects from drugs. So don’t despair and try not to worry too much although I know how hard this is!

Hi sunlover100, SL255,hevski75,
Thank you for your kind support recently, i can confirm my ct scan results so far.
In Dec 23 my cancer marker was 425, feb 329 and as of yesterday its down to 96… To say im chuffed to bits is a understatment, i know my treatment is ongoing. I just know the treatment regime im on is working. Living with sbc is not a walk in the park. Going on holiday saturday to get some much needed sun, rest and relaxation. To prepare myself for the next scan in november and anxious wait again for results in dec, to which then will be a whole year since diagnoses.

Wishing you all a good day today, sending gentle hugs to you all

Enjoy your holiday you deserve it xx

Hi purplerose, thank you so much for getting in touch. My x ray came back as normal, which is great! however the pain has increased, and now I’m wondering if it’s something to do with the Letrozole I’ve been taking for the last year and a half. I still have an ultrasound and blood tests to go, so we’ll see! how are you doing?

That’s great to hear about your results. Lovely to hear good news on this forum.
