Redness on breast

Going through breast cancer treatment Surgery

Hi

 

i am 7 weeks post op from a mastectomy and reconstruction using an implant. Over the last 3 weeks I have developed a small red rash on the skin which high up on the breast.

 

my consultant said it’s not infected and will monitor me weekly, he also said it may be a reaction to the mesh used. He said this is not common and would have to think what to do.

 

has anyone else had this problem?
