Diagnosis confirmed, I have a 11mm by 3mm fibroadenoma, which I have opted for a removal.
Has anyone else had an FA removed and can I ask for any tips, how long was recovery? Aftercare etc?
Hi Sommer , I had one removed when I was 19 , I am 43 now , it was a while ago, yet doesn’t seem that long.
The process may be quite different now, but I remember I healed quickly. A nurse came out to change my plaster then within 2 weeks I had the stiches removed… I didn’t have a lot of time off work.
Are you having it removed quite soon ?
