Can any one advise me as to when dressings should be removed.
I had a lumpectomy and lymp node biopsy last Tuesday. I removed the dressing from under my arm on Friday and took off the sticky tape across the cut yesterday. Now I can’t remember when I should remove the one from my breast, the district nurse removed the top dresding on friday to have a quick look but then put another one on it.
Would appreciate any advice

Wait till you go back to the hospital maybe?? Or see the practice nurse.Dressings can remain on wounds for several days.Unless there is a leakage,leave them on.
