Just had confirmation that my lobular bc has returned to the same area. Had mastectomy a year past September but after biopsy and ct scan confirmed it’s back just under the reconstructed area. Just a mixed bag of emotions. Had a lumpectomy with chemo and radiotherapy 5 years ago so this is my 3 rd reoccurrence. Awaiting appointment with oncologist to discuss treatment as slight concern it maybe in chest but not confirmed. Looking for any similar experiences and hope xx

Sorry you are back here again…it’s crap isn’t it.
this is my 3rd time… 2012 DCIS , had x 2 WLEs… 2018 DCIS recurrence same breast same place…mastectomy … 2020 other breast primary IDC WLE, chemo and rads… but it is what it is I guess.
