Struggling to function normally
Taking sertraline from previous episode of depression.
Any advice. Process been very fast. Ammo and ultrasounds last Monday. Biopsy Thursday and results due Weds
Hello Craine. I can’t offer much advice (I’m still waiting for my appt to come around, now less than a week away!). I’m also struggling to function. Am trying to be kind to myself, take the occasional half a diazepam when the anxiety becomes unbearable & distract myself when I can. There are lots of lovely women on here, all agreeing that the waiting is the WORST. Do you have anyone you can talk to? The helpline are meant to be very helpful, if you just want to talk to someone you don’t know. Fingers crossed that Wednesday comes quickly for you xx
Hi. You are feeling just like everyone else did. It’s awful. I lost ten pounds in weight with anxiety in a two week period. But once I had my lumpectomy and was told it’s a grade one - I was so lucky - I breathed again and was back to normal. You may find you are fine and results are benign but if it is bc, then you will be looked after and dealt with so well. It’s very treatable . Fingers crossed for you.
