Hello Ladies
I just wanted to write and let you know the results of my appointment this week. Thankfully it was good news. The cause of my indentation (apparently there was more than one) was due to a milk duct and the loss of a few pounds in weight recently.
I am writing this in order to hopefully, comfort and reassure any ladies who find themselves in a similar situation with indentations as when I was looking, I could find no other possible reasons for it other than pointing to cancer.
The two weeks leading up to my appointment were terrifying, as all of you who are waiting know yourselves, and along with the fact that my GP was so cancer positive, I was convinced it would be cancer. So please, any of you who have a similar problem and are around my age (66) and waiting for your appointment, do not be afraid, there are other things that can cause the indentations. This was something I was desperate to hear whilst waiting but never did. So I hope there is someone out there who reads this who can be comforted and helped by my story.
And Ladybowler…I am going up north next week to look at double basses!. x
My love and thoughts are with you all and thank you so very much all those lovely ladies who tried to calm and help me through my short journey. I will never forget.
