hi Northerngirl

Just wanted to add my congratulations. so nice to read about positive results. Your onc must be confident that things will remain stable for a while if he doesn’ want to see you for 3 /4 months

enjoy the rest of the summer

my sister in law is up from down south so enjoying the next few days with her doing girlie things shopping
going for lunch watching big brother shopping and so on
thanks again for kind words

Hi Northern girl, I have only just noticed this post from you. Im so pleased you have had good results too. I know how you feel, you think we would be hanging off the ceiling with excitment, but somehow I never let myself get too excited. There is one thing I have been wondering, did you have a brain scan after your original dx or did you just have abdomen, lungs, bone, etc. That seems to be the standard thing here in Oz. They now say that my brain mets would have been there the same time as my grade 3 lumps and node positive. I am one of the lucky ones, thank God I didnt kill my kids in the car when I had the siezure! (angels watching over me!) I also never knew that chemo didnt effect the brain, until it was too late. Anyway Northern girl have fun with your sister in law!

Hi Northern girl, glad to hear your fantastic news. Have a great time with your sister-in-law.

Hi Suzy, Sorry to hear your news, but interested as I have secondary brain mets, are you able to drive or has your license been revoked?

dear suzy39

it was nearly 2 years after 1st dx of breast cancer just thinking things were going well when i had jerkiness down 1 side

had brain scan which showed tumour had mri to confirm it luckily it was only 1 tumour and in an operable place i had it removed last july

had mri in feb and again 3 weeks ago these results have both shown no sign of cancer

forgot to say i havent driven the car since dx of brain mets onc said after 1 year if scan was clear he would write me a letter for dvla

i forgot to ask in the excitement of the moment im going to ring as im dying to drive again
