Running liquid down the side (on the inside!) after ANC

Hi, I had my ANC on Wednesday, and even though they said that this time the drain would stay on for longer (I had it on for 2 days after Mx and SNC), they ended up removing it yesterday (Friday) morning just before I left the hospital, as it was just under 50ml.

Since then I sometimes feel running liquid down my side (not the arm), but when I touch the side, it’s completely dry, so everything is happening internally.

Has anyone else had it?

I mentioned it to the nurse while still there but she wasn’t worried after checking my dressing was dry.

It’s just such a weird sensation - and it ‘runs’ more when I’m sitting up.

I suppose it’s the liquid that should be going into the drain running around and eventually being absorbed by body. It doesn’t seem to end up anywhere, really, the sensation kinda disappears when it hits my waist.

Hi

I am new on here and the same sensation following anc three weeks ago. I had been warned by BNC that it may happen and that it was nothing to worry about. Not uncomfortable just very weird for me it cleared up quite quickly. Have had lots of other strange feelings and sensations over the last couple of weeks just assume its all part of the process and try not to worry about any of them.
