As so many of you were aware, Lynn has been poorly for quite a while now. We’ve just been told this morning that she died last night. They said all her family was with her and she was very calm and peaceful and not in pain and seemed aware that they were with her.
As you can imagine, we are all devastated and are sending our condolences to her family and her numerous friends.
We’ll never forget our ‘fit brit’.
Lynn - you were so special, with your unique brand of humour and enthusiasm for your life to continue and enjoy all the clubs and festivals despite being so ill from this awful disease. It robbed you of so much and so young. Really hope there is a special place in another ‘world’ for you now where you can do all the things you wanted to.
I’ll never forget you and your feistiness for life and determination to keep your life normal. You were an inspiration to me as you never gave up.
Love you and miss you always

Vikki and Lynn’s family - Lynn was such a special person and I’m so sorry for your huge loss of Lynn to this wicked disease. She was always there for us and always carried on despite being in pain. She was a very special person and although I’m sending my sincere condolences to you all, it just doen’t sound good enough to express what Lynn meant to me.
I’m so sorry for you all
Love Katex
I’m so very sorry to hear this sad news. When Lynn was first diagnosed with secondaries we exchanged a few emails. Much too young and much too soon.
Rest in Peace Lynn, my sincere condolences to your family and friends. Love Belinda…x.

I’m so sorry to have to read this, lynn was one of original younger ladies with dee and jak. We’ve all gone through this together, from first confessing our age and then with the spread of secondaries.
I remember seeing Lynn at Vfestival and thinking what a damn fun time she was having and that’s how to live your life.
My thoughts are with Lynns’s partner, family and friends.
So very sorry to hear this sad news. Another life cut short by this filthy disease.
Thinking of her friends and family and a very sad goodbye to Lynne.
Love Debsxxx
This is very sad news - I didn’t know Lynn at all (being a newish member) but it’s terrible that this awful disease has claimed another very young victim. My condolences to Lynn’s partner family and friends
On behalf of the moderation team at Breast Cancer Care I would like to offer our sincere condolences to Lynn’s family and friends at this very sad time.
I am utterly devastated to read this and would like to echo Kate’s thoughts. I was lucky enough to meet Lynn and like all who knew her (much more than me) I could not fail to be impressed for her zest for life - despite the illness…She was a real cracker and for her life to be cut so short is just awful…I will never forget the laughs we had in that pub in Westminster…she was on form that night…
Thoughts with Vikki and Lynn’s family for your awful loss. Thoughts also with GG…I only met Lynn once…this must be a terrible time for you all…
I am so sorry to read of lynn’s death. I remember her as feisty young lass I met at the Westminster conference and took photos of her, Kate & Jane together.
My thoughts are with Lynn’s family, and Vikki, as they are with all of you gobbygang members because I am sure you will miss her.
Such sad news, this awful disease has robbed another family of a wonderful person. My thoughts are with LYNN’S family.
Also thinking of all of ‘The Gobby Gang’
Such sad, sad news. I’m an oldie that bunks in from time to time on your thread, and I did feel that I got a great feeling of hope from you all. Words cannot express the loss of such a young, vibrant life. My thoughts are with you - her dear friends - and her family. Be strong for each other. xxx Jacq xxx
Hello GG,
I too gatecrash your thread occasionally. Your humour and zest for life gives me a much needed lift on occassions. I am so sorry you have lost a dear friend - too young too soon. Thinking of you all and her family at this terribly sad time.

This is such sad news of another tragic loss. It is a relief to hear that Lynn was surrounded by those who loved her and was peaceful.
Sincere condolances to Vikki, Lynn’s family and friends. Condolances too to the gobby gang, having also lost a young friend to bc I can well imagine what you are going through right now.
With heatherlou and dawnhc I met Lynn at the BCC secondaries event in Oct 2007 and then afterwards in the pub. I know she’s been through such a horrible time since then as her disease relentlessly spread.
Lynn was funny, bolshie and beautiful…indeed a ‘fit brit’.
Thoughts with you all in the wonderful gobbygang…your thread is a breath of breath air, friendship, love and solidarity amidst the pink fluff and nonsense.
Thinking of you all, and of Lynn’s friends and family.
I cant really type more at the moment in fact really struggled to log on tonight, currently having a glass of aussie red and hope you and Moira doing the same. Will so miss your brummie banter and very thought provoking posts.
